Marc Reiner

Hello, my name is Marc.

I was born in Germany and raised in a non-Catholic family. Today, I have the privilege of serving as a full-time missionary with Ardens in Vienna, Austria, where I was invited by the local bishop to live out the “little way” of evangelization — following Jesus’ example by building authentic friendships and walking closely with students to support them, love them, and build them up as they work toward their university degrees.

I chose this mission because it was through personal relationships that my own faith was transformed. I came to realize not only that God is real, but that He lovingly desires a personal relationship with each one of us. Through the witness of FOCUS missionaries, many of my deepest questions were answered, and I encountered people whose lives reflected the joy and freedom that come from following Christ wholeheartedly.

I was confirmed into the Catholic Church in November 2024, and ever since, God has placed on my heart a desire to share the same joy and hope that I have received with others. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to serve in Austria, a country with deep Catholic roots, and to help young people rediscover the beauty of the Holy Mass and experience a true, life-changing encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ.
